"We must expect great innovations to transform the entire technique of the arts, thereby affecting artistic invention itself and perhaps even bringing about an amazing change in our very notion of art.”
Paul Valéry, Pièces sur L’Art, 1931
Le Conquete de l’ubiquite
Was Paul Valéry a visionary long before his time, by predicting the innovations which followed with time and led to digital media as an acceptable means to the new form of digitized art?
So then one would ask, "What is the next step in the evolution of tools which have led us to become digitized?"
As eight tracks moved to cassettes, then cd's and dvd's, and blue ray, and cameras advanced to video and digitized, equipment will continue to evolve and increase in capacity, capability and efficiency.
